Tim Pauszek is a Western New York native, born and raised a stone’s throw away from Great Lake Erie in the Rust Belt town of Dunkirk, NY. He completed his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and interdisciplinary art at Alfred University and was employed there as the 2D technician in Drawing, Painting, Photography, and Printmaking. He holds a master’s by research in fine art with a focus on printmaking from the University of New South Wales in Sydney and was the press studio manager at Megalo Print Studio in Canberra, Australia. After his time Down Under, he spent a year traveling and making art in Bangkok, Thailand, before returning to the United States. He currently lives in Alfred, New York, where he is the editor for the podcast Hello, Print Friend and teaches advanced printmaking at Alfred University.
